YF&R Members Compete in National Competitions in Nashville
The American Farm Bureau Convention is just a few weeks away in Nashville, TN and preparations for the event are in full swing. In addition to details regarding, registration, hotel accommodations and workshop and event arrangements, many Young Farmer and Rancher members are preparing to compete in national competitions for some seriously amazing prizes.
MFBF will be sending, Sophi Davis, a rancher from Park County to compete in the Discussion Meet. Sophi won the Discussion Meet held during the MFBF Annual Convention and was the recipient of a brand new Polaris Ranger. She now has the opportunity to compete for even more prizes in Nashville—good luck, Sophi!
Eligible Young Farmer and Rancher members have the option to compete in three national contests; the Achievement Award, Discussion Meet and Excellence in Agriculture. Each of these contests offer their own variety of unique opportunities and challenges and winners are generously rewarded. The three winners of the YF&R Achievement Award, Discussion Meet and Excellence in Agriculture competitive events will each have their choice of a 2018 Ford truck and paid registration to the AFBF YF&R Leadership Conference in Reno, Nevada on Feb.16-19, 2018.
