YALC is quickly approaching—like really quick. It starts on Friday, so if you have been on the fence about attending now is the time to make that decision and register today.
After this sneak peak of the agenda, you won’t want to miss out so pack your bag and head for Helena!
We’ll kick things off Friday afternoon with tours around the Helena area. Featured tour stops include Tizer Meats, Lewis & Clark Brewery and the Department of Livestock.
The tours are just the tip of the ice berg, the weekend is chalk full of great keynotes and excellent workshops. Friday night, you’ll hear from Ben Thomas, Director of the Montana Department of Agriculture, and Brandi Frobose.
Buzzard’s Beat
Brandi Frobose is the face behind the popular blog Buzzard’s Beat. She’s a rancher from Kansas and is not afraid to tackle some of the toughest topics in agriculture. We’re so glad to host her in Montana! Be sure to follow along with the Buzzard’s Beat on Facebook and the blog.
Ranching for Profit
Ranching for Profit is the business school of the livestock industry. As one of the lead instructors, Dave Pratt will be joining us to share a wealth of knowledge on increasing profit, business skills and more!
But Wait--There's More
In addition to these two spectacular keynotes, there are some great workshops planned on a variety of topics. You’ll hear about digital marketing in the ag industry, intensive grazing practices, financial options and strategies to help your business grow, plus some great Entrepreneur Spotlights.
