The 2016 Montana Farm Bureau Annual Convention will be November 13-16 at the Double Tree and Northern Hotels in Billings, Montana. The theme “Connecting at the Trailhead” captures the coming together of farmers and ranchers to work toward the common goal of promoting agriculture, dealing with regulations and providing food for a hungry world. Here's a preview of our convention highlights:
Monday, November 14 — General Session keynote:
Vance Crowe, Monsanto’s Director of Millennial Engagement, will discuss how the general public has become so disconnected from where their food, fuel and fiber comes from. Vance will talk about what he learned while living in Kenya with the U.S. Peace Corps, and about his work helping scientists and farmers around the country get better at sharing their knowledge with a public that is not fascinated with modern agriculture.
Vance can be found on social media @VanceCrowe.
