The Foundation Golf Scramble is one of our primary fundraisers with proceeds going to fund agricultural education and youth leadership development.
What is the Foundation doing for Montana agriculture?
Assisting in Agricultural Education: MFB Foundation is dedicated to funding programs that will help current members and our youth develop into leaders for agriculture. We fund ag education programs, provide accurate agricultural materials to urban students and fund over $20,000 in scholarships annually.
Building Leaders for Agriculture: MFB Foundation is dedicated to funding programs that will help current members and our youth develop into leaders for agriculture. Our Foundation is in our 5th year of providing tuition scholarships for members of the REAL Montana program (Resource Education and Agriculture Leadership). The Foundation also awarded $10,000 in scholarships and registration grants to Montana young farmers and ranchers who attended the 2018 AFBF YF&R Leadership Conference in Reno, NV this February.
Supporting Montana’s Rural Communities: Our Foundation is implementing a Centennial Community Initiative that will result in at least $100,000 of community development grants for rural Montana. In giving youth the opportunity for leadership and offering educational programs, we work to broaden the impact of Montana agriculture and ensure its future.
